01Our agreement with you
These Terms of Service govern your use of Planytic’s website, applications, APIs, and related services (the “Service”), operated by Planytic Software Development Services (“Planytic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Planytic. If you are under 18, or have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf. Any higher minimum age or additional consent requirements under applicable law also apply. Children under 13 must not create an account or use the Service.
Students may use Planytic subject to these age and permission requirements. Schools, teachers, and other organizations must have the authority and permissions required by applicable law before inviting students or providing their personal information. A school invitation does not by itself replace required parent or guardian permission.
If you use Planytic for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf. In that case, “you” includes that organization.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
02Accounts and team access
Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials and API tokens secure, and notify us at support@planytic.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account and integrations.
Workspace and project owners control membership and permissions. Your access to an organization’s content may change or end when an owner changes your permissions. Owners are responsible for inviting appropriate people, managing shared links, and revoking access that is no longer needed.
03Acceptable use
Use Planytic lawfully and respect other people’s rights. You must not:
- Upload unlawful content or content that infringes privacy, intellectual property, or other rights.
- Use the Service for fraud, harassment, exploitation, malware, spam, or other harmful activity.
- Attempt unauthorized access, bypass permissions or usage limits, expose other users’ data, or disrupt the Service.
- Share credentials or tokens with people or tools you have not authorized, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
- Collect or submit personal information, screenshots, recordings, or other material without the necessary permission or lawful basis.
Report suspected vulnerabilities or abuse to support@planytic.com. Do not access, change, or disclose someone else’s data while investigating a concern.
04Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in the content you submit, including tickets, documents, comments, files, and feedback. You give us permission to host, store, reproduce, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate, secure, and support the Service and carry out your instructions.
You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit content and make it available to your collaborators and chosen integrations. Shared links may make content accessible to anyone who has the link; consider what you share and revoke links when they are no longer needed.
Planytic’s software, branding, and other materials remain ours or our licensors’. These terms give you permission to use the Service, not ownership of those materials. Keep your own copies of information that is important to you.
05AI and connected services
Planytic can connect to AI tools, code-hosting services, and other third parties you choose. When you enable an integration or use an AI feature, relevant content may be sent to that provider to complete your request. The provider’s own terms and privacy practices also apply.
AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. Review generated content and proposed actions before relying on them. You remain responsible for decisions, changes, and permissions you authorize. Planytic does not guarantee that AI output is accurate, unique, or suitable for a particular purpose.
Use narrowly scoped tokens where possible. Third-party agents can read or change information within the access you grant; you are responsible for choosing and supervising those tools.
06Plans, billing, and cancellation
If you purchase a paid plan, the price, billing interval, applicable taxes, trial terms, and any seat-based charges are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew at the selected interval until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges through the payment provider shown at checkout.
A trial converts to a paid subscription only as disclosed when you sign up. Cancel before the trial or current billing period ends to avoid the next scheduled charge. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, unless checkout states otherwise or applicable law requires a different result.
Manage cancellation using the billing options provided in the app or contact support@planytic.com for assistance. Uninstalling an app or ceasing to use Planytic does not cancel a subscription. Failed payments may result in restricted access.
Contact us about billing errors or refund requests. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, the payment provider’s applicable process, and your statutory rights. Nothing in these terms removes a refund or cancellation right that applicable law gives you. We will notify you of material price changes before they apply to a future billing period.
07Availability and service changes
We work to keep Planytic useful and available, but interruptions can occur because of maintenance, technical issues, security incidents, or third-party outages. Features and limits may evolve. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect an active paid plan where practicable.
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from errors. Any mandatory warranties and consumer protections remain in effect.
08Suspension and closing your account
You may stop using Planytic at any time and request account closure through support@planytic.com. Before leaving a team, coordinate with its owners about any shared work you need to retain. Account closure and cancellation of a paid subscription are separate requests unless we confirm otherwise.
We may restrict or suspend access to address nonpayment, a material breach of these terms, unlawful activity, or a security risk. We will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve an issue where reasonable; urgent security or legal concerns may require immediate action.
After access ends, retention and deletion of personal information are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should continue, including payment obligations already incurred, ownership, and limitations of liability, survive termination.
09Liability and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Planytic is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or business opportunities, arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US$100.
These exclusions and limits do not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing in these terms restricts mandatory consumer rights or remedies available to you under applicable law.
If a dispute arises, contact support@planytic.com so we can try to resolve it. These terms do not require mandatory arbitration or prevent you from seeking help from an appropriate regulator or court.
10Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the Service or applicable requirements change. We will update the date on this page and notify you of material changes through the Service or your account email before they take effect where required. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms, subject to any consent required by law.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
For questions about these terms, contact Planytic Software Development Services at support@planytic.com.
